The Chrome Robosapien is a remote controlled fast moving Robot. It was designed by Mark W. Tilden who was a robotics physicist for NASA. He developed the basics for biomorphic robotics in 1988. He used biomorphic robotics principles to give the Robosapien more human like movements.
The Robosapien is simple enough for kids and advanced enough for adults. With the wireless IR remote controller aimed at his brain, you can command the Robosapien to perform more than 65 pre-programmed functions. You can even string up to 84 commands together to make your robot companion do some really funky stuff including multi-speed fast dynamic walking, running and turning, pick-up, throw, kick, sweep, dance, fart, belch, rap, and a variety of kung-fu moves! The Robosapien also speaks fluent international "caveman" lingo which is fully understood by all teenagers!
As well as his phenomenally smooth movements, Robosapien reacts to both touch and sound. His Interactive Reflex System uses a series of sensors strategically located throughout his body to detect and avoid obstructions.
You don't need a computer, all the functions are handled by the sylish chrome finish ergonomic remote control which runs on regular AAA batteries for over 6 hours.
The Robosapien also includes three demonstration modes: Disco dance, Rude behavior, and Kung Fu kata. Is there anything this robot can't do?! Well... he can whistle, do a high-five, pick up small objects with his dexterous biomechanical fingers and even fart!
So, if you're attracted to shiny objects and you don't have robophobia, this is definately the one for you!
